The pandemic is really bringing out the best in people, one of which is the Moonwalkers paradise i.e. the Jackyard Burger House located in Calangute. They do takeaways and delivery after 6 p.m only and prior orders are a must.
Craving for burgers really made my friends and I just ring up to order for some juicy flavourful burgers. On reading the menu card and hearing the term Bacon Jam itself made my mouth water hence I went for it. Also, the best part, they serve their burgers with a small portion of French fries.
The JBH offers options between chicken and beef, I obviously went for the beef option. I must say at the first bite itself I knew I would want more than just one burger. Not because it’s not worth the price or something but because the bacon jam in it was so impactful that it left me craving for more at its last bite. The burger bun was nice and soft and included a medium sized beef patty, finely chopped onion and carrot in mayonnaise, cheese and bacon jam. In my opinion, the bacon jam was the hero of the burger. The beef patty could be done better in terms of its juiciness and flavour, but thankfully the bacon jam was there to save the day. The burger overall was a bit dry and could use more of the bacon jam, cheese or even some sauce to really juicy and delicious.
